Van Cortlandt Park- The Back Trails
Details
Moderately paced around 5 miles- Hike in the back woods of Van Cortlandt Park, including the OCA (Old Croton Aqueduct) Trail. We will also hike the OCA into Yonkers, a short distance. Our time out should be around 2.5 hours. Inclement weather will postpone the hike. No pets. Guests who can keep up the pace are also welcome.
Joint with AMC. Expect a large group.
Take the Number 1 train to the last stop in the Bronx at Broadway and 242 St. Meet at 10:00 a.m. on the nearby benches by the restrooms. Sign up ONLY if you intend to attend. We will have a brief restroom break during the hike. Wet weather cancels.
