TARRYTOWN LAKESIDE TRAILS

SUN. May 3. TARRYTOWN LAKESIDE TRAILS AND SEGUE TO ROCKEFELLER STATE PARK PRESERVE. Hike limited to 25 participants. About 10 miles. From Tarrytown train station use local streets to Tarrytown Lake (1.1 mile climb); then hike Blue, Yellow, White, and Green lakeside trails. Use Andre Brook Trail and OCA to enter Rockefeller Preserve and hike Cedar Hill, Cantor Alley, Pocantico River, and 13 Bridges trails. Out to Philipse Manor station via Sleepy Hollow cemetery. No sneakers – trails can be rocky. Some hills. Lake, rivers, rapids, and a small waterfall await. Meet GCT 9:00 am for 9:25 Hudson Line train to Tarrytown. RT fare $22.50. (Seniors $15.)
