We will meet at 📍🗺️ Clark (Richard) Park at 11am. It is conveniently located at 3400 North Rockwell St, Chicago,IL 60618 and adjacent to the Chicago River Canoe and Kayak building.

After a brief introduction we will walk over to the rental area and rent a kayak. Unless you have your own equipment.

11:20am 🚣♀️🚣♂️ We will kayak North along the North Branch of the Chicago River for 30 minutes and return to our starting point 📍

Once we conclude our kayak adventure we will walk along the North trail to Horner Park for about a mile and walk back to Clark (Richard)Park for another mile. This will give us the opportunity to chat and get to know one another 🤓

You are responsible for renting and paying for your own kayak,if you do not have one. Personally, I do not have one and I will be renting my own. If you have your own equipment you are more than welcome to bring it 😀

Chicago River Canoe and Kayak does not take reservations and it's a first come first serve basis with personal flotation devices being provided. I have kayaked at this location plenty of times and I believe there will be a sufficient amount of kayaks available.

🅿️There is available parking at the entrance and along Rockwell street. The meet point is accessible by 🚏🚍public transit with the #49,#152,#77 buses to name a few 🥳
