Join the Outdoorsy Adventure Team for a day of exploration and wonder on one of North Florida’s most breathtaking barrier islands - Big Talbot Island! 🏝️
Our adventure begins with a birdwatching walk, where coastal birds glide over the salt marsh and driftwood shorelines. Then we’ll wander along the boardwalk and meandering forest trail, leading us through maritime hammock and coastal scrub toward one of nature’s hidden masterpieces - the surreal landscapes of Black Rock Beach and Boneyard Beach.
Once there, we’ll scramble across the black rock-like formations and climb among the skeletons of ancient driftwood trees, shaped by wind and sea — a hauntingly beautiful reminder of nature’s power and artistry. 🌬️🌊
Bring your sense of adventure, your binoculars, camera, and your curiosity. This is a journey where the forest meets the sea - and the outdoors calls us to explore, connect, and play!
