Outer Banks LOCALZ - Social Group for locals!

For anyone over 40 who lives in or owns a vacation home in the Outer Banks and wants to meet new people and do fun things like dinners out, happy hours, bike rides, hikes, paddle boarding and kayaking. Women, men, single, married, all are welcome. Please keep in mind that this is not a singles/dating group; it is a friends/social group. Anyone aggressively pursuing "dates" will be asked to leave. Age is just a loose guideline so if you are under 40 and want to join us, please do. No tourists or vacationers please. Local members are welcome to bring non-local guests with them. We will be following COVID protocols so please be vaccinated against COVID for everyone’s safety.

There is a $5 annual membership fee that will be due within 90 days of joining. This is purely to cover the monthly fee that meetup charges me. You can either pay me directly at an event (and I will record it in meetup) or pay through meetup. If you have problems with paying this, please discuss with me (Susan). I can waive the fee if there is need.

Please update your RSVPs if you sign up for an event and then find you cannot attend. We will be limiting the number of attendees at some of the events, especially dinners out so please be mindful of this so that you don't take up a spot that could go to someone else.

Please note that all events are attend at your own risk and organizers are not liable for any injuries or illness that could occur.
