Historic House tour and Garden Party. A Fundraiser on behalf of The Community Care Clinic So much history and connections to current Manteo locals
Built as the weekend and summer home for Z.V. Brinkley and his family in 1899, the home originally sat on what is now the Dare County Regional Airport. In 1935, the home was rolled onto logs and pulled by a team of horses and mules to its current location. After years of neglect, the house was purchased by Jeff and Caryn in 2022, and they began the long process to restore the home to its original glory, retaining as many of the original elements as possible.

We look forward to hearing from local author and historian Robin Holt and making a May Day Bouquet for a friend or neighbor from the cutest flower bar from Belles Bouquets.
It is going to be a beautiful event!
