Join us and see all the wonderful new amenities at The Commentary and catch up with each other. This event is ideal for making new friends, professional networking, idea-sharing, and community building. Or just unwind and enjoy the extended happy hour. The first 100 to RSVP will get in. This signature social event happens monthly and brings together LGBTQ+ folk from all over the DMV and the world! Better yet, there is no cover.
The Commentary is all about coming together and connecting in conversation and shared experiences.
Happy hour specials are in effect until 9 p.m. The Commentary is attached to the Westin hotel.
You may still enter from the hotel side; but, you will see an entrance dedicated solely to The Commentary. If you wish to dine there, the menu is All American eatery infusing East Coast ingredients with a West Coast flair.

Casual attire is fine.
You are welcome regardless of where you live. Guests from DC, Maryland, and Virginia often attend.

Free Parking: The Commentary is attached to the Westin hotel, and complimentary hotel parking is available in the hotel garage. After parking, simply go to the hotel bar, say you are there for the social, and ask to have your parking ticket validated.
This LGBTQ+ community-wide social provides everyone a chance to mingle, socialize and share community spirit in a fun setting. All your friends are welcome. Fabulous people from all over the world are expected. It's FREE to attend. Casual attire is fine; this will be a relaxing and fun time. Simply pay for drinks using your own credit card or cash; there is no group tab. This is a 21+ establishment, so bring your ID with you. You are welcome regardless of where you live. This is the place to be.
