The Arisaig Tea Rooms is a contemporary Scottish bar and restaurant located in Sydney's vibrant Surry Hills neighbourhood, within the iconic Reader's Digest Building and is accessed off a hidden courtyard where we can relax, soak up the sun and people-watch, while we chat aboot the upcoming, and verra much looooong-awaited, return of the adventure-packed Part 2 of Season 1 to our screens.

The Tea Rooms is a family owned establishment which derives its name from the picturesque Scottish village of Arisaig located on the shores of Loch nan Ceall on the West Coast of the Scottish Highlands.

Meaning ‘Safe Place’, Arisaig is an area of outstanding natural beauty and it prides itself on friendly Scottish hospitality and fresh local produce. Quality food and drink is at the very heart of every Scotsman (and lassie)! With it’s lush, fertile farming, clear coastal waters and the best wee dram o’ Whiskey on offer - Scottish produce is world-renowned.

At the Arisaig Tea Rooms, we are invited to enjoy a ‘wee’ slice of that charm. They use fresh, locally sourced produce to provide tasty food, friendly service and all-round good craic!

Their team is passionate about creating fresh, homecooked produce which is inspired by Scotland's classic recipes. Have a look for something to tempt your appetite here: http://www.arisaigtearooms.com.au/menu

Alongside their carefully selected wine list, they have a range of Scottish Craft ales and beers from the heart of Perthshire alongside some local faves. They recommend 'a wee dram' after your meal and their collection of Scottish malt whiskeys won't disappoint.

Their signature "teapot" cocktails are inspired by some famous Scottish landmarks. So we'll have to give them a whirl, no?

We are all invited to "Come and join them". They promise a warm welcome!

I am verra excited aboot this, our fourth gathering, as it's our first indoors event, so to speak. We have a few items on our list of chatty topics to start the ball rolling, such as the Clan Gathering in Bundanoon in April, Circle t-shirts and...(drum roll please!)...the Season Return on the 5th of April - half way through Easter.

A' Chàisg sona - a Happy Easter to ye all.

I am on the edge of my window sill and I hope you are too. I'm looking forward to spying ye all on Sunday and meeting some bright new faces too.

Your Circle Caster,
Marina
