Calgary Outlink presents #RainbowRec23! This year, we’re bringing back a series of pop-up events to offer opportunities for members in 2SLGBTQ+ communities and allies to have come together in recreational events. We will be kicking off our first Rainbow Recreation event with an evening of mini golf on Wednesday, July 5th!
The event will take place at Monster Mini Golf Calgary (2020 32 Ave NE). We will start at 5:00 PM, and we will have a party room reserved for two and a half hours. The mini golf course will last about forty minutes - it is an indoor course featuring glow-in-the-dark decor and a collection of interactive monsters. Feel free to wear clothing that can glow - we can supply highlighters to draw on shirts, as well as glow-in-the-dark bracelets.
The event is free. Food and drinks will be provided. We encourage everyone to register as soon as possible, as there are limited spots available. Fill out the registration form here, and let us know of any dietary restrictions or accessibility concerns. Please note that an RSVP to the Meetup event will not guarantee you a spot - use the link above.
For transit directions: bus #38 and #33 stop at WB 32 Ave NE @ 23rd St NE. The entrance and washrooms are wheelchair-accessible. There are no all-gender washrooms on site. However, an Outlink staff member may accompany you if you have any safety concerns using the facilities.
We hope you will join us for a monster bash of fun!
Stay tuned for updates on future Rainbow Recreation events, along with workshops taking place this summer.
