Lavender Teatime presents: Dating With Pride Workshop! (Registration required)

Been on a few too many disappointing dates? Looking to level up your dating profile? Trying to have a Hot Dyke Summer? How would you like to learn from others in your communities over open and honest discussion of lesbian and sapphic dating skills and experiences?

Join our Lavender Teatime group for a peer discussion-based interactive workshop where we’ll talk about how to build and curate intentional dating interactions that work for you!

This workshop will be facilitated by Outlink group facilitators and staff members. Participants are welcome to share and contribute to the conversations as much as they feel comfortable. This workshop is intended for adults of any sexual orientation and relationship style who identify with queer womanhood.

This is a free event. Registration is required and spots are limited. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

This workshop is part of our new Lavender Teatime pilot structure where we host a monthly special event in addition to our two other regular monthly meetings! Lavender Teatime is a community group for those whose identities are informed and understood in relation to experiences of queer womanhood, including trans, non binary, and cis folks as they feel comfortable in this space.

While this is an event about dating, this is not a dating space.

Getting There:
There is street parking in front of the CommunityWise building on 12 Ave, and adjacent blocks. There are bike parking racks on the sidewalk in front of the building. Nearby LRT stations to get to CommunityWise include Victoria Park, 1st Street, and 3rd Street stations.

Building Accessibility:
There are a few steps to get up to the front doors, as well as a ramp. There are no steps to get into the common room. There is one step to get up to where the washrooms are on the main floor. A ramp can be placed if needed.

The building has single stall all-gender washrooms on all floors.
Please refrain from wearing strongly scented fragrances, as some folks may have sensitivities.

Wearing a mask is encouraged and welcome in all of our spaces. If you have any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, sore throat, etc), we ask that you please do not attend.
