Lavender Teatime presents: Crafty Afternoon in the Park! (Drop-in event)

Join our Lavender Teatime group for a crafty afternoon in the park! Folks are welcome to bring a craft that they're working on (knitting, embroidery, drawing, etc) and hang out in the park together. If you don't have a craft, you're welcome to bring a book or just come by and hang out!

We will be meeting by the tables and benches by the little building. If it's raining, we will meet inside the 1st Street Market next to the park (1327 1 St SW). Keep an eye out for our sign!

We recommend that folks bring anything you need to be outside (sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, bug spray, etc). We also recommend bringing a blanket or chair to sit on if you don't want to sit directly on the grass. There are tables and benches as well.

Snacks and drinks will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own as well if you wish.

This is a free drop-in event. No registration is required.

This event is part of our new Lavender Teatime pilot structure where we host a monthly special event in addition to our two other regular monthly meetings! Lavender Teatime is a community group for those whose identities are informed and understood in relation to experiences of queer womanhood, including trans, non binary, and cis folks as they feel comfortable in this space. Please note that this group is mostly attended by and is a space intended for adults. Older youth are welcome to attend if they feel comfortable, however we do offer youth-specific programming as well.

Accessibility and Public Health & Safety:

We will be sitting in the grass and/or at the tables at the park together. You're welcome to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. If it rains, we will move inside nearby.

Please refrain from wearing strongly scented fragrances, as some folks may have sensitivities.
Wearing a mask is encouraged and welcome in all of our spaces. If you have any cold, flu, or Covid symptoms (cough, runny nose, fever, sore throat, etc), we ask that you please do not attend.
