OutLoud Sports is thrilled to welcome you back to the sand for our Spring Beach Volleyball Draft Season! Whether you’re a seasoned beach pro or brand new and just here for good vibes, community, and sunshine, this league is all about connection, inclusivity, and fun.

## 🏖️ LEAGUE INFORMATION

Draft Day & Season Kickoff:
📅 Saturday, March 14th, 2026
Game Days & Time:
🕘 Saturdays | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (game times will vary throughout the season)
Season Length:
⏱️ 8 weeks (every Saturday, including Easter weekend, weather permitting)
End Date:
🏁 May 2nd, 2026
☔ Rain make-up date: May 9th, 2026 (if needed)
Location:
📍 Granada Beach Volleyball Courts
(aka Rosie’s Dog Beach — Courts 5–10)

## 🏐 GAME FORMAT

• 4 vs 4 beach volleyball
• 6 players per team
• 2 matches each week
• Best 2 out of 3 sets
• Rally point scoring

## 🌈 SPRING DRAFT SEASON FORMAT

All players register as free agents and come to the beach on March 14th for our Draft Day round-robin scrimmages. This is your chance to:

• Meet fellow players
• Play with different teammates
• Show captains what you bring to the court

After scrimmages, captains will disappear into a highly secretive, extremely dramatic (and totally blind) draft to build balanced teams. That evening (optional but highly encouraged!), join us for our Opening Party Happy Hour at The Hare to meet your new teammates, pick a fun and silly team name, and officially kick off the season with food, drinks, and some friendly competitive energy!
Can’t make it to Draft Day?
No stress, no problem. Every registered player is placed on a team. No one gets left behind 💛
👉 Official league matches will begin on Week 2, March 21st, once teams are finalized.

## 👑 CAPTAINS

Think you’ve got what it takes to lead a team to victory? Request to be a team captain during the registration process.
Captains will be selected based on:

✨ Uniqueness
✨ Nerve
✨ Talent
To be considered, you must:

• Be available for Draft Day (March 14th)
• Attend most (if not all) league games throughout the season
• Help foster a fun, inclusive team vibe

## 📊 SKILL DIVISIONS

During registration, you’ll indicate your preferred skill level. Final placement is determined during the draft to ensure fair, balanced teams.
Draft order follows: Advanced → Intermediate → Recreational
Recreational
Perfect for beginners or those looking for a relaxed, social environment. Flexible rules and lots of encouragement.
Intermediate
Players should have a solid grasp of fundamentals like serving, passing, setting, and hitting, with a good understanding of beach volleyball rules.
Advanced
Competitive play with strategic offense and defense. Expect consistent attacks, digs, blocks, and strict beach volleyball rule adherence.
