MONDAY PICKLEBALL: SHUFFLED DOUBLES
This league is the same format as our previous Monday leagues, where you register as an individual and play doubles with rotating partners each week. Now affectionally known as "Shuffled Doubles"!
GPN + DUPR
You will need to set up a (free) Global Pickleball Network account in order to play in this league. League scheduling, matches and standings will be run through GPN. Unlike our Saturday leagues, scores from this league will not be submitted to DUPR.
WHAT IS A PICKLEBALL SKILL RATING?
It's okay if you don't know your skill. There are multiple rating systems currently in use. For the sake of this league, you can reference: USA Pickleball Skill Rating Guide
For placing yourself in the correct division, please refer to the following breakdown: (these guidelines are based on the USA Pickleball definitions and your DUPR or other rating may be slightly lower than your self ranking based on USA Pickleball’s criteria)
Beginners is 2.5 or below
Low Intermediate is around 3.0
High Intermediate is around 3.5
Advanced is 4.0 and above

LEAGUE INFORMATION
This is a 7 week season. No play on January 20th or February 15th due to National Holidays.
Location: Fairfax High School Tennis Courts
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Early Bird: $90 Per Player
Regular: $95 Per Player
Late Registration: $100 Per Player
All players will register as a free agent.
You will compete in weekly randomized pairs within your division. Make new friends, play the fastest growing sport in the nation, and experience diverse and competitive play.
Players will register as solo players. Over the course of the regular season, players will be paired in random pods of 4 or 5 and compete in different duos of the same skill set, and will compete for yourself.
Players are expected to show up weekly to compete in their matches. If you are unable to attend weekly matches you will have a forfeit recorded which may negatively impact your standings.
COURT LOCATION AND LIGHTING
We play at Fairfax High. The courts do not have typical high overhead lighting, as the school does not provide this. We have lit the courts with 18 high wattage halogens and standing center lights so that all courts are playable. However, due to the lower lighting, if you have impaired vision issues, you may prefer to play in our Saturday league, during the day time. Please note that we are unable to offer refunds after registration for any reason and when you sign up for this league you understand the courts do not have overhead flood lighting.

HI TOPS WeHo will be our after game sponsor where you will receive discounted drinks and have a chance to hang out with other queer pickleball players off the courts!
