By attending this event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the following terms, subject to applicable law.

1. Organiser Identity
   “Can” is the community name used by the organiser for privacy and branding purposes and refers to the organiser and/or designated event hosts.

2. Assumption of Risk & Personal Responsibility
   You acknowledge that social and recreational activities involve inherent and unforeseen risks, including injury, illness, accidents, and loss of or damage to personal belongings. You voluntarily accept these risks to the extent permitted by law and remain responsible for your own safety, health, wellbeing, conduct, and belongings. You agree to act responsibly, respect others, exercise good judgment, and take reasonable precautions before, during, and after the event.

3. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, Can, its organisers, hosts, volunteers, and community members shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, accident, or other incident arising from or connected with your participation. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

4. Guests & Third Parties
   If you bring guests, you are responsible for informing them of these terms and taking reasonable steps to ensure they behave responsibly and follow event guidelines. Every attendee remains responsible for their own conduct, safety, and belongings. Events may involve other communities, meetup groups, organisers, venues, or individuals, including non-singles-focused groups. Can is not responsible for the independent actions, decisions, arrangements, or activities of third parties, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Photography, Videography & Media Consent
   Photography, videography, audio recording, or other media capture may occur. By attending, you consent to Can and its designated organisers capturing and using identifiable images or recordings featuring you for promotional, marketing, social media, publicity, and community-related purposes, without compensation, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, inform the organiser in advance and take reasonable steps to avoid recording areas. Incidental capture may not be entirely avoidable. Separate consent will be obtained where legally required.

6. Acknowledgement & Release
   You voluntarily agree, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not to hold Can, its organisers, hosts, volunteers, or community members liable for claims, losses, damages, or demands arising from your participation or the permitted use of event photographs, videos, or recordings. This does not waive any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Acceptance of Terms
   Your attendance constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of this disclaimer, liability waiver, and media consent policy, subject to applicable law. If you disagree, you should not attend. By participating, you confirm that you understand your responsibilities and agree to respect your own and others’ safety, privacy, and wellbeing.
