The Outsiders is a New York-based social club. Our mission is to bring people together, foster a sense of community, and develop meaningful connections through shared outdoor experiences. We work hard to keep these adventures affordable and accessible to provide more people with the opportunity to join us and experience the outdoors.
The Outsiders are made up of social butterflies, urban explorers, music lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, thrill seekers, creatives, foodies -- in essence we are New Yorkers looking for our next adventure with like-minded people.

Hike & Oktoberfest October 4

Join us for one of the best fall adventures of the season — a scenic hike to one of New York’s most stunning waterfalls, followed by an afternoon of beers, brats, and Bavarian vibes at Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest!
We’ll kick things off with a moderate hike along the Kaaterskill Rail Trail to Kaaterskill Falls — a 3.7-mile out-and-back featuring lush forest paths, crisp mountain air, and the breathtaking two-tiered Kaaterskill Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in New York State. After soaking in the views (and snapping plenty of photos), we’ll head straight to Hunter Mountain for Oktoberfest — where live music, hearty food, and festive brews await.REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND https://joinoutsiders.com/events

Join us on Sunday, October 5th, for a Hike at Wawayanda State Park featuring multiple rock scrambles and picturesque pond views, followed by a visit to APPLEFEST!
Applefest began in 1989 as a simple harvest celebration. Named one of the "Top 100 Events" in the country, over 30,000 visitors now attend the one-day event, traveling from neighboring states to experience the extraordinary variety of Warwick's apples, culture, and entertainment. The festival is produced by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce. Festival proceeds benefit the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, and some 50 local non-profit organizations, for whom the event is their biggest annual fundraiser.

Join us for an adventure with Ice Cold Club—a scenic hike followed by a guided cold plunge.
We’re heading north to explore one of the most beautiful and rewarding trails in the Hudson Highlands. After a moderate climb with sweeping views , we’ll hike down for a guided cold plunge experience led by Ice Cold Club. This intentional immersion is designed to boost circulation, calm your mind, and unlock a deep sense of presence.

Join on Monday, October 6th for a serene evening under the Super Moon—a meditative night walk followed by a deeply restorative sound bath in nature.
We’ll take a short and mindful nature walk—less about hiking, more about slowing down, tuning in, and immersing in the sights and sounds of the forest beneath the full glow of October’s Super Moon. After the walk, we’ll settle in for a grounding sound bath session under the open sky, surrounded by nature and moonlight. Expect crystal bowls, soft chimes, and deep peace led by Angela Powe of Equality Yoga.
