Experience winter’s magic on our Frozen Falls & Flavors adventure — a stunning hike to the icy beauty of Kaaterskill Falls, followed by an authentic Tibetan meal in charming New Paltz.
We’ll begin our day early at The Standard Biergarten before heading north to the Catskills. There, we’ll trek through peaceful winter woods to witness Kaaterskill Falls, one of New York’s most iconic cascades, transformed into a shimmering tower of ice — a breathtaking sight and a true Hudson Valley gem in its frozen glory. After the hike, we’ll warm up together with a cozy Tibetan lunch, savoring hearty momos, steaming thukpa, and other traditional dishes that hit just right after a winter trek.
EVENT DETAILS 8:30 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten 9:00 AM – Depart NYC 11:15 AM – Arrive at Kaaterskill Falls trailhead 11:30 AM – Begin hike to Kaaterskill Falls 2:00 PM – Conclude hike and drive to New Paltz 2:45 PM – Tibetan lunch experience 4:30 PM – Depart back to NYC 6:30 PM – Arrive back at The Standard Biergarten (All times are approximate and subject to change based on traffic and group pace.)
Our adventures are full-day trips. We don’t recommend scheduling other activities on days you attend, as return times can vary.
