Before anyone gets any ideas - yes, we meant the legal, educational, woodsy mushrooms.
We’re heading out on a guided foraging hike to learn how to identify wild mushrooms and other edible plants safely and responsibly. An expert guide will teach us what to look for, what to absolutely avoid, and how to harvest ethically while we explore beautiful trails just outside the city.
No experience needed - just curiosity and a sense of humor. You’ll leave knowing the difference between “gourmet mushroom” and “absolutely not”, and will never look at the forest floor the same way again.

10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten 10:30 AM – Depart NYC 12:00 PM – Arrive at park to begin hike 4:00 PM – Conclude hike 4:30 PM – Depart back to NYC 6:00 PM – Arrive back in NYC

• Our adventures are full-day experiences. We do not recommend scheduling other activities that day, as return times can vary.
• Proper footwear is mandatory. Unsafe attire may result in denied participation for safety reasons.If you are not dressed in weather-appropriate gear or your attire is deemed unsuitable for the activity, we have the right to turn you down for the safety of the group and yourself.
