Join us for Stairway to Heaven Hike & Homemade Ice Cream a day that perfectly blends challenge and reward.
We’ll take on one of New Jersey’s most iconic trails: Stairway to Heaven along the Appalachian Trail. The adventure begins with a scenic 2.5-mile stretch through the peaceful Pochuck Valley. Prepare for wooden boardwalks over marshland, a suspension bridge crossing, and even a walk past grazing cows. It’s calm, open, and deceptively easy. Then comes the climb.
After crossing Route 94, we begin the “Stairway to Heaven” ascent: a steady series of rocky switchbacks that gain elevation quickly. It’s a moderate-to-challenging push, but the panoramic views at the top make every step worth it. This is the kind of climb that earns you something. And we’ll earn it.
After the hike, we’re heading to Heaven Hill Farm for their homemade ice cream, the perfect sweet finish to a hard-earned summit. You’ll get fresh air, farm vibes, and a cone in hand before we make our way back to NYC. 🍦🌾

10:00 AM – Meet at The Standard Biergarten 10:30 AM – Depart NYC 11:45 AM – Arrive at Trailhead 2:00 PM – Trail snack break 3:00 PM – Conclude hike + Head to Heaven Hill Farm 5:30 PM – Depart back to NYC 7:00 PM – Arrive back in NYC
