Perrot SP has the best view of the Missisippi anywhere. When you climb up the trail to the mountain top, you can see all the way to Winona.
Beautiful bluffs up against the river provide a breathtaking view of the area.
There are many hiking miles along the trails surrounding the park.
The Great River State Trail is a bike route to the village of Trempealeau.
For watercraft, there is a boat landing on the Trempealeau River, which gives access to Trempealeau Bay and the Mississippi River under a railroad bridge.

Voyageurs were French Canadian explorers that came to this area in the mid-1600s to expand the fur trade. Canoes were their primary means of transportation. Explore Trempealeau Bay as the voyageurs did on our 3.4-mile looped canoe trail. The trail is marked by blue/white directional signs and takes about 2-3 hours to complete.
Canoes and kayaks are available to rent at the park headquarters.

We will have the traditional potluck around 7PM, bring something to share and participate... even if it's store-bought!
Camping cost is $10 per night per person.
Firewood is not provided.

A Wisconsin State Parks permit is required.
