Saint Edward State Park Conditioning Hike - Moderate Pace And PICNIC

Let's have a picnic at the picnic tables on the lawn after our Friday night hike.

Please pack something for yourself for dinner and maybe something/snack to share (optional).

If it looks like it is going to rain, we can move indoors.

Otherwise same bat trail, same bat time.

Let's do a short hike at St. Edward State Park.

Please allow time for traffic in your commute to the trailhead

Meet at 5:30 start hiking at 5:40

Moderate Pace 2mph+- We will start together, then you can can choose your own adventure back up to the lodge (there are multiple routes). If you are unfamiliar with the park, you may want to bring a map.

*Discover Pass Required, if you do not have one there is a pay station in the lot. I may be doing this event somewhat regularly so you may want to buy an annual pass.

Meet at the trailhead on the NORTH side of the lot. When you enter the park and the lodge is in front of you turn right and continue to the trailhead.

This is a hiking only event, but if members would like to gather for food afterwards there is the Lodge at the State Park.

Let's talk about the waitlist - if you are on the waitlist, you will be added to the "Going" list based on your RSVP time even if you have Priority status.

Note, I like to keep this event to 12 people to keep it manageable, please ask before inviting guests. If the event is full, guests will not be allowed.
