Holiday 5-6ish mile Hike on Cougar Mountain Sky Country Trailhead
Details
Let's head to Cougar Mountain via the Sky Country Trailhead. I'm planning on following the Coyote Trail and then finding the Shangri La Trail. I've only been on Cougar from this location once, so this will definitely be an adventure. This is probably a good time to remind you to download a copy of the map. https://your.kingcounty.gov/GIS/web/Web/VMC/recreation/BCT_CougarMtn_brochure.pdf
Please be committed to attending with no last minute no shows or cancellations. No shows/late cancellations are unfair to those on waiting lists and habitual offenders will be removed from future hikes. Always plan on getting home later than estimated.

Directions (read carefully, as there are multiple starting points)
From I-90, just west of Issaquah, take Exit 13 and head south (right) on Lakemont Blvd SE. In about 2.3 miles turn left onto SE Cougar Mountain Way. In 0.6 miles, turn right onto 166th Way SE. Follow this street (stay left at 166th Pl SE, a minor side street) and in about 0.8 miles come to the Sky Country Trailhead and its large parking lot. Along the way, the street will have changed names to Clay Pit Road which is gated here at the trailhead.
Toilets are available at the trailhead.
