A linear walk from Harold Wood to Upminster on the London Loop (to Upminster Bridge), and then going a bit beyond the prescribed route on to Corbets Tey. When we reach one of the walk's highest points, you'll see the lovely view over Ingrebourne Valley, which includes Upminster Windmill. We'll stop for a nice cup of coffee en route.

We'll finish at the Huntsman & Hounds in Corbets Tey, where some well deserved (optional) food and/or drink awaits those who want it. For people who need to get back to their cars afterwards, its a 346 bus back to Harold Wood. For those on public transport, many other destinations are accessible.

Walkers not coming to the pub might choose to hop off slightly earlier, a little bit nearer a station.

We're meeting in the usual Café Break at 11am which is opposite the station car park. Because its a Saturday you can park on a lot of yellow lines. Drive down Station Rd past the café on your left & station car park on your right, and look out for the yellow lines with Mon - Fri restrictions.

If you are on the train, turn right out the station and immediate right again into Station Rd. The café is down on the left.

You can get a 294 bus from Romford, or a 256 from Hornchurch. The 256 takes 15 minutes from Hornchurch District Line Station. The 346 covers Upminster.

If you haven't already pre-paid for February, I ask for a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organiser fees. No shrapnel please.
