Ealing Broadway to Hanwell - Green Walk + (optional) Pub

I'm putting this up early to see if there is enough interest in spreading our wings, with the Elizabeth Line now drastically shortening rides across London.

This is from the book I bought a while back, detailing 23 walks on that very line. The walk starts at one Elizabeth Line station, and semi-circles to the next. The train journey goes to just zone 3 on the other side of town, so it's well within all Oyster cards & freedom pass territory.

We're meeting at Ealing Broadway Station. It will be 11.30am to allow for the extra bit of travelling. There is plenty around the station for those getting there early wanting a coffee or a mooch.

The Central and District Lines go all the way, but its much quicker to hop on the Elizabeth Line if you can. Just 27 minutes from Stratford.

The walk is about 6 miles, and goes via Pitshanger Park, Perivale Park, and Brent River Park. We'll stop for a nice coffee along the way and arrive at the (optional) pub mid to late afternoon.

I ask for a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organiser fees. No shrapnel please.
