Linear Green Walk from Shenfield to Brentwood + (optional) Pub

This is a nice walk, and a lot of people didn't come last time because they felt it was too far. Well with it being just four stations on the Elizabeth Line from Romford, and covered on Oysters etc, I thought I'd try giving it another outing.

Its a linear green walk from Shenfield Station (Elizabeth Line) to Brentwood (still on the Elizabeth Line). We're meeting at Subway Sandwich Shop, facing Shenfield Station, at 11am. We'll stop for a nice coffee break on the way, and finish at Brentwood Wetherspoon. Non-pub goers will be able to take the short-cut off to the station, before we get to the High St.

As previously mentioned, your free passes do cover you to Shenfield on the Elizabeth Line. When we get to Brentwood, you can get back on the Elizabeth Line at the station; or we can get a 498 bus to Romford, and then anywhere you will from there. For those without free passes, this will only cost £1.75 for tapping onto one, two (or even three) buses within the hour.

If anyone decides to drive to Shenfield, you may need the train back to your car, or an 81 (non-TFL) bus will go there from the High St. I would, however, recommend the much easier train option. Remember you can pick the Elizabeth Line up from Whitechapel, Stratford, Ilford, Chadwell Heath, Harold Wood, and many inbetween stations too.

For those who have not paid for June, I ask for a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organiser fees. Or you are able to choose the option of £4 to cover you for this walk and the rest of June. No shrapnel please.
