Rotherhithe to Tower Hill - Green Walk + (optional ) Pub
Details
We passed the north-side of the Rotherhithe Tunnel on Saturday, so let's hop on a train three stops across the river and go for a walk around the south-side. We'll end in our new favourite (optional) Wetherspoon, Goodman's Fields, at about 3.30pm
The meet point is 11am at Rotherhithe station, Its just three stations from Whitechapel (Elizabeth Line, District, Hammersmith & City) on the London Overground Windrush Line, and there is a coffee shop in the station.
We'll be walking through Russia Dock Woodland, Stave Hill Ecology Park (pictured above), Greenland Dock, Surrey Quays, Southwark Park, Kings Stair Gardens, Bermondsey Beach, and Tower Bridge. We'll stop for a coffee somewhere nice along the way.
