Circular(ish) Green Walk - Surrey Canal and Burgess Park + (optional) Pub

Lets go very slightly further afield this week to the Surrey Canal and the very large Burgess Park. We can meet at 11.15am, just to give that tiny bit more travelling time.

The meet point is McDonalds, a stone's throw from Peckham Rye Station. Come out onto Rye Lane, turning left to McDonalds a minute or two up on the same side.

Its just seven stations from Whitechapel (Elizabeth Line, District, Hammersmith & City) on the London Overground Windrush Line (same as Rotherhithe), but please do ensure that you get on a Clapham Junction train on this occasion.

The walk is still under construction, but it will be pretty circular. If we don't finish exactly where we started, it will be another nearby station on the same Windrush Line.

We'll stop for a nice coffee halfway round, and I plan to be back in the (optional) pub at about 3.30pm, I will point any non-pubbers to the station.

If you haven't already paid for January, I ask for a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organiser fees. £1 and £2 coins only please - if you do bring silver, you will be asked to go off and change it.
