8/3 Kayaks, Nature Walk & Waterfall Picnic: East Greenwich, RI

This event is the new Rain Date as the previos 7/27 event was rescheduled due to inclement weather. Please notice revised start time is now 1:00 for new 8/3 event.

If you were originally going 7/27, your $15 donation will be applied to this new 8/3 event, (your original waiver will be used for 8/3 event). If you cancelled or cannot attend this new date, your donation is forfeited per our “No Refunds Policy”

Our fellow member and friend Bill is the property owner of nature conservatory In East Greenwich, RI. (Exact address TBA to attendees only) and has generously invited us for a visit to his “Labor of Love.”

The 2 1/2 acre property has a pond for kayaking. You MUST bring your own LIFE VEST if you want to ride in any of the 3 Kayaks. A VEST MUST be worn to ride.

An easy guided nature walk will take us over a wooden bridge and a scenic waterfall. There may still be peaches and raspberries for us to pick.

There will be poison ivy so it’s important to STAY WITH BILL, OUR GUIDE to avoid certain areas.

The property has Bills dogs off leash, chickens, and dogs. Feeding or petting are allowed 🐓🦴. However, please do not bring pets to the event.

There are 2 bathrooms for us to use, a few shaded areas, as well as tables to eat our BYO lunch and beverages 🥪🍷. We should bring blankets, lounge chairs and plan on cleaning up after we enjoy our picnic.

ALL partipants MUST sign a WAIVER in order to attend. After you have paid for your spot, please email me at bamedeiros90@comcast.net. Please type WAIVER in the Subject line. Once received, i will email to a blank waiver. You print, sign and email a picture of entire document back as “Reply All.”

We will meet at the entrance at 1:00. There is plenty of free parking. The fee for our visit is a $15 “donation” towards the continued conservation of this land. Please Venmo ME via Venmo at Brenda-Medeiros-1 or PayPal me at Bamedeiros90@comcast.net.
NO REFUNDS will be given for any reason and NO Selling cancelled spots to other members. (Meetup’s discontinuance of members chats based on membership status, and other issues has made this practice too complicated….)

Please remember to write your name if different in notes section and indicate NATURE BRUNCH so I clearly know who payment is from and for which event.
