First meetup for the Over 50 men's social group (we need a better name!)

First of all, thank you so much for signing up. There are nearly 40 of us now!
I would also like to thank Bob for his general enthusiasm and for scouting out the location for our first meetup!!

I used to live in Malasaña. Its a proper Madrid barrio!
Let's meet on Monday, 23rd June at 7:30 (el Atleti plays in the World Club Cup at 9pm, so those of you interested can still watch the game).
I don't think we should be a drinking only group, there are plenty of those, but for this first physical meeting I think we need to discuss what the purpose of the group is: what kind of activities, when, who does what, hhow often should we meet, etc. We have discussed all kinds of things: a Spanish civil war tour of Madrid, karaoke, FIFA World Club Cup games, hiking in the country at the weekend, pool competitions, etc.
