What we’re about
Lets get together for fun activities and enjoyable conversations. If you are 50+ and enjoy dining, going to the movies, live music, and day trips, then this is the group for you. And it's a great way to meet new friends. Some events that I have organised include:
•Day trips to Ballarat (easy to get to by train)
•Geelong walk and wine festival
•Ferry ride to Portarlington
•Cinema
•Dining
What you can do for the group:
•Bring your fun, positive attitude
•Be committed to showing up when promised and be respectful of other members
Terms and conditions:
•We require that your profile includes a clear photo of yourself so others can identify you at events
•Only commit to attending an event if you are certain that you can attend. We understand that circumstances may change (last minute emergencies and illness) but please let your host know. Members who frequently cancel may be suspended from the group. Preference will always be given to reliable members
•Those who cancel within 48 hours of an event without a reason or an apology will be suspended from the group. This also applies to "no shows" on the day. Late cancellations by members cause havoc with respect to event reservations with many on the wait list no longer able to attend.
•This group will not tolerate aggressive or disrespectful behaviour.
