Meet Up - Christchurch's Longest Running Social & Friendship Network

Fun Times Social - Young at Heart 45+ group was created in March 2015 for the purpose of like-minded people to connect and to share common and various interests.
With this developed social age platform but centuries old algorithm, the idea of this was to have a safe and secure real-life zone for people to come together in this technological era, in a non-threatening environment within the public arena.
This was mainly in the form of Friday Night Drinks and Socializing.

Our group's activities mainly consist of the following:
Random Friday Night Social Drinks & Friday-Saturday Night Live Music & Dancing.
If the City Bars & Suburban Clubs scenario is not one's scene, our group may not be suitable for them.

Curiously though...
Our senior members are also involved in Outdoor Activities & Walking which are posted regularly.
Penteque on the Beach, Walking the Botanical Gardens etc, and other random active social events.

Basically...
We're all here to have general fun, laughter, and memorable times together, wherever our paths take us.
We welcome all good strong and spirited individuals.
Members are the Blood and Backbone of our group.

We do not tolerate Anti-Social Behavior:
Excessive Profanity, Vulgarism and Lewdness from/or towards Members.

Bullying, Stalkerish or Threatening Behavior from/or towards Members.

Unsolicited messaging from/or towards Members via our group.

Creating or bringing unwanted personal dramas from/or towards Members within our group.

To be approved we recommend the following:
One's real first name (surname optional)
A fairly recognizable photo of oneself (no sunglasses)
Answer our approval questions genuinely
Sending us a message prior confirming one is genuine (optional)
RSVP and attend an event within 90 days of acceptance.

So...
Although we do not have the power to control human algorithms, we understand that friendships and connections may grow into more than just meeting up with others.
Our advice to anyone in our group is that "Your Discretion is Your Protection"
