Bruce's Ride

Details

You all know Bruce because he is a regular on my rides and on the mid week ones too. He has come up with a ride around his local area. Here's the description:

Down Orpheus Dr and the onto Onehunga Harbour rd.
Go over Mangere bridge and onto Coronation rd.
Keep going until you reach Hinau rd and turn left, go to end of cul-de-sac and onto Te Ararata creek reserve.
Follow path and go across Eldon st and back onto Te Ararata track.
At end of reserve turn right, note short but steep incline so change down before turning.
Go across Bader drive and join cycle path along Motorway.
When you get to Kirkbride rd turn left and keep going to Thomas rd where you turn left.
Turn right into Cape RD, come to a bend and across the road you will see a track and go down that, at T intersection on track left then right, go to end of walkway and then turn right into Mascot Ave turn left onto Ashgrove reserve and follow tack up to Bader drive
Turn right
At Robertson Rd turn left and follow cycle path until Gadsby Rd
Turn right into Bukem Pl and go onto track to Boggust Park.
Ride through park and onto Lenore Rd, follow back ti Gadsby Rd and turn right
Turn right into Harania Ave, just opposite Tinker Pl there is another track that takes you to Mary Place. Go to end and turn right and go to end onto Favona Rd and turn right
Turn Right onto Norana Ave and then join the cycle track back to Mangere Bridge and go back over to Onehunga and we can have some refreshments at Luscious Cafe. Bruce tells me he has arranged a back room for us!

I haven't ridden this so I am looking forward to something new. If you have any ideas for future rides, and particularly if you want to detail them, talk to me. You too could have a ride named after you!

Please bring a spare tube for your particular bike wheel size.
We travel at circa 15ks an hour except for down hills.
We have a tail end Charlie to make sure riders do not get lost. We are not too fond of leaving people behind.
Assistance will be rendered for any mechanical issues but we are not bike mechanics.
