Huia Dam & Exhibition Drive

Anyone interested in a ride on Thursday two short rides you can either do the first one miss the second or do them both.

The first one is from Huia to Upper Huia dam on the damn access road this is gravel One hill 13 km return. This is a lovely ride through Bush especially good on the way back as it’s gradually downhill again except for the one Hill.

Coffee at the cafe in Huia and then there’s the option of an 11 km ride along exhibition Drive up to Arataki again a beautiful ride through Bush along a gravel track.

As normal then:

• Please bring a spare tube for your particular bike wheel size.
• We travel at circa 20ks an hour except for down hills.
• We have a tail end Charlie to make sure riders do not get lost. We are not too fond of leaving people behind.
• Assistance will be rendered for any mechanical issues but we are not bike mechanics.
• If you are signed up for the ride but change your mind at the last minute please text or phone me on 021 987 521 to advise. Same if you are running late.
