The Ruins of Hailsham - and lunch

In the novel, Never Let Me Go, Kathy imagined what her childhood home, Hailsham, would look like after it was closed down and abandoned.

Ambler Mansion is a an old home reminiscent of Hailsham and the English countryside. It's a "less traveled" tourist site in the area similar to the isolated location of Hailsham. It's also supposedly very haunted. When it was built, the area was called "New Town" and it is presumably the basis for our current day New Town.

I thought we could take a quick trip and then head to lunch at Amber Ox. No particular reason for Amber Ox except I have a $200 gift card that I need to use before it expires. We can put that towards the group lunch.
