Jamstack OPO #11 | Leveraging APIs in the Jamstack + Ecommerce in the Jamstack
Details
Jamstack is not about specific technologies. It’s a new way of building websites and apps that delivers better performance, higher security, lower cost of scaling, and better developer experience.
The Meetups will continue to be online to take the opportunity to have speakers from different countries to share their experience with us.
We will have 2 amazing talks during this October edition.
## The importance of media and leveraging APIs in the Jamstack.
The Jamstack advocates the creation of faster websites via static site generators and CDN delivery. There’s even a competition between Jamstack sites to see who scores the highest numbers on Lighthouse. As we all know, media (images and videos) are the heaviest assets on any webpage however they are essential for a good customer engagement. How can we make sure that we adhere to the core principles of the Jamstack even with a media-heavy website?
