OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) with Franziska Bühler and Christian Folini

Details
Franziska Bühler (@bufrasch) and Christian Folini (@ChrFolini) are OWASP Core Rule Set (@CoreRuleSet) hackers and will join OWASP DevSlop's project leaders Tanya Janca (@shehackspurple) and Nancy Gariché (@nanzgtweets) to discuss the award-winning OWASP ModSecurity Core Rule Set (CRS) project!
ModSecurity is a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with open source code that is widely used in commercial products.
The OWASP ModSecurity CRS flagship project develops a set of generic rules for use with ModSecurity and other compatible WAFs.
As you may know, WAFs protect web applications from attacks like those outlined by the OWASP Top Ten project. The CRS claims to be the 1st line of defence to protect against malign payloads such as SQL injections, cross-site scripting, remote command execution, and violations of the HTTP protocol.
Don't miss this show if you are interested in getting started with CRS!
