Serverless Observability in AWS : A Learner's Journey

While developing an account automation tool in AWS, Kiki Morgan hit a major roadblock. Her goal was to create more observability with her code. Instead, she accidentally created functions that were hiding errors, making it harder to debug. In the process of solving the issue, she learned a lot about lambda observability & error handling.

Kiki has a non-traditional Tech background, with a degree in Theatre & Sociology from Brown University. In the past year, she has taught herself AWS. She used that knowledge to obtain the AWS Solutions Architect certification and write AWS security remediation & account automation tools.

RENAN DIAS (Dojo with Renan)
Renan is an Architect focused on Cloud, DevOps and Security at Slalom Build, where he architects and implements Cloud solutions that follow DevOps and Security best practices for clients in different industries. He started his career as a Software Engineer developing mobile, front-end and backend applications. He then transitioned to the infrastructure side of things and shifted his focus to implementing modern solutions for Cloud, automating software and infrastructure deployments with CI/CD pipelines and securing networks, servers and applications to comply with industry security standards such as PCI DSS.

In his free time, Renan shares his passion for technology with the world publishing videos on his YouTube channel and doing live streams sessions on his Twitch channel - DojoWithRenan.
