After a long break following the Global AppSec Lisbon, we want to start 2025 with an OWASP Lisboa Meetup right in January.

Title: Practical Security Guard Rails for LLM

Speaker: Nick Vinson

Abstract:
LLM based systems are being built and deployed at a rapid pace and new security threats are being introduced as a consequence. In this talk we'll discuss the nature of these threats and what security controls can be implemented to protect against them.

Bio:
Nick has 14 years in the tech industry spanning across both security and engineering roles. In his current role Nick leads the Product Security function at Snyk, a cybersecurity company that builds developer-first security products.
