OWASP LA Monthly Virtual Meeting - JUN 23, 2021
Details
Come join us as we hear the monthly presentation by Daniel Blazquez from Hdiv Security
TOPIC: Practical DevSecOps - An easy recipe
>> NOTE << Presentation Link will be sent the day before and day of the event to all those who have RSVP'd)
ABSTRACT: Despite broad industry adoption and its potential significant benefits, security practitioners are becoming increasingly cynical about DevSecOps, mostly due to its abstract nature and lack of specificity. This talk aims to provide actionable advice on how to add Sec to DevOps, as a combination of developer education, free OWASP resources, and security automation.
BIO: Daniel Blazquez leads the technical marketing and developer advocacy practice at Hdiv Security, a VC-funded application security company focused on detection and protection from security bugs in apps, APIs, and microservices. As an ex-Java programmer and recovering corporate strategy professional, Daniel brings a holistic view to the software development industry: from code development thinking to product management, all the way to organic and inorganic growth strategy experience. His education includes Computer Science master's and undergrad, and an MBA at UCLA Anderson.
Meeting info will be emailed to you shortly prior to the event - BE SURE TO RSVP to receive the email containing the link
