OWASP NZ - Auckland Meetup - May 2023

We have a new host for our May Meetup!
IriusRisk has kindly agreed to host our session, at their Auckland 'office.' We'll be meeting in the ground-level Seminar Room at the B:HIVE shared workspace, 72 Taharoto Road, in Takapuna.

Pizza, soft drinks, beer, and wine will be provided - also sponsored by IriusRisk.

Our approximate agenda for the evening:

• 7:15 p.m. - Pizza and more networking
• 7:45 p.m. - Technical Topic

We restarted our introductory coverage of the OWASP Top 10, with the 2021 edition. Our Top 10 topic for May will be A07:2021 - Identification and Authentication Failures.

Technical Topic Speaker: John DiLeo, IriusRisk
Talk Title: Let's Talk about Threat Modelling

Abstract: John will provide an update on his general thoughts about threat modelling as a source of Security Requirements for applications, how development teams can integrate threat modelling into their BAU practices, and his updated views on the tool landscape.

When you're on The Boulevard facing the building, you'll see a nondescript set of black doors to the left of Reform Physio.
