Maria has been an Application Security Engineer for the past 7 years with focus on CI/CD pipeline vulnerability scanning as well as Docker and Kubernetes security best practices.  She is a lifetime member and long-time supporter of OWASP.
 
Maria is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).  She earned a Computer Systems Engineering bachelor’s degree from ASU.  Prior to working in cybersecurity, Maria was a web application developer focused on automation solutions.
