* How the NVD got started and its growth over the years.
* What happened with the Feb 2024 NVD halt.
* Current and future threats to the NVD.

Maria has been an Application Security Engineer for the past 8 years with focus on CI/CD pipeline vulnerability scanning as well as Docker and Kubernetes security best practices.  She is a lifetime member and long-time supporter of OWASP.
Maria is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).  She earned a Computer Systems Engineering bachelor’s degree from ASU.  Prior to working in cybersecurity, Maria was a web application developer focused on automation solutions.
