What Lessons Have We Actually Learned From The Past?

Hosted By
Chris S. and Stephen K.

Details
As we become more and more familiar with security risks, common sense suggests that we apply lessons learned from past mistakes....but this is not always the case.
We still regularly find basic security failings in operational technology, maritime, and automotive environments. This is further compounded with the application of IoT technologies in ever more innovative ways.
In this presentation we will demonstrate the vulnerabilities found in cars, ships, oil rigs, and toys which show that perhaps we haven't learned many lessons from the past at all.
