David Jacoby
AI has become a serious force multiplier for offensive security, making it possible to rediscover old attack techniques and turn them into modern tools at incredible speed.
At the center of this talk is TTY/PTY hijacking: techniques that let an attacker interfere with active terminal sessions, inject commands, capture sensitive input and potentially take control of trusted SSH sessions. Using live demonstrations, I’ll show how AI helped me take these largely forgotten ideas from research and raw bugs to working offensive tools.
Minimal slides. Maximum terminal. A practical look at what happens when decades-old hacker techniques meet modern AI.

Engla Rencelj Ling
The current threat landscape is increasing pressure on the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure. The electric grid is particularly at risk due to society’s dependence on electricity. This risk is further increased because of ongoing changes and challenges introduced by electrification, renewable energy resources and AI. This presentation provides an overview of cybersecurity challenges, the threat landscape and solutions for securing the power system of the future.

About the speakers
David Jacoby
As an award-winning keynote speaker and author, he tries to bridge hacker culture with executive clarity. he was one of the ethical hackers on the SVT show HACKAD_ and technical advisor to the Millennium series. He also works with the World Childhood Foundation and he is global ambassador for HackShield, protecting children online and inspiring the next generation of ethical hackers.

Engla Rencelj Ling
Engla Rencelj Ling is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Uppsala University. Her research focuses on cybersecurity of digitalised energy systems, and she also teaches courses in this field.
She received her PhD from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 2025 and her M.Sc. in Computer and Information Engineering from Uppsala University in 2015. Between 2015 and 2019, she worked as a Systems Engineer at Cisco.​‌
