Presentation Title: The Hardest System to Hack Was Me
After more than three decades in technology and cybersecurity, I chose to became a beginner again. I enrolled in the OSCP training program, expecting one of the hardest technical challenges of my career. What I did not expect was for it to challenge my confidence, my identity, and everything I thought I knew about learning. I failed the exam four times before finally passing on my fifth attempt.

This is not another “How I Passed the OSCP” monologue. Instead, it is an honest story about how repeated failure became the catalyst for personal growth, resilience, and leadership. Whether you are pursuing a certification, struggling through a difficult project, or wondering whether you even belong in cybersecurity, this session explores how failure can become one of the most valuable teachers in your career. I showed up to hack systems; the hardest system to hack was myself.
