Welcome to the kickoff of our March "Code vs. No-Code" Series! 🚀
Before we learn how to build, we need to learn how to clean. Ever wonder why some WordPress sites feel like a sports car while others feel like a bicycle with a flat tire?
Tonight, we aren't looking at "fancy code." We are looking for the "Secret Ingredients"—the hidden things you’ve added to your site that are slowing it down. Whether you built your site with a "No-Code" builder or custom "Code," speed is the #1 factor for keeping your visitors happy.
What we’ll do together:
- The Live Speed Lab: We’ll put volunteer websites under the "microscope" using the Google PageSpeed Insights tool to see exactly what’s holding them back.
- The "Plugin Weight" Test: We'll show you how to tell if a "No-Code" plugin is doing more harm than good.
- The Heavy Image Fix: Most slow sites just have "big bones." We'll show you how to use TinyPNG or ShortPixel to make your site light as a feather.
- Hosting vs. Coding: A plain-English talk on whether your speed problem is your site or just your hosting company.
Who is this for?
Absolute beginners! If you can use a mouse and a keyboard, you belong here. We use simple analogies—like comparing your website to a kitchen—so everyone leaves feeling like a pro.
