About Us.
We have been running a badminton club in Japan since 2017, but now we have moved and established a badminton club in London. We always use feather shuttles for the best badminton experience. We have a limit on the maximum number of players to avoid overcrowding. This is an inclusive and friendly club, so we welcome players of all levels. Our aim is to ensure everyone enjoys playing competitive badminton games and has fun!
All other sessions are open to all levels. Please bring your own racket, badminton equipment with suitable indoor shoes, and water (racket hire is not available).
Weekly club sessions are currently at:
Fridays: (8pm to 10pm) Royal Greenwich Trust School, 765 Woolwich Rd, London SE7 8LJ (All levels welcome).
The sports hall is located at the back of the school and car parking is available. There is an intercom system available if the gate is shut.

Session fees: £12 per person for a 2-hour session where feather shuttles are provided. Payments should be made 24 hours in advance.
We are committed to ensure that you enjoy your badminton evening, but we are a not-for-profit organization with limited resources ,and so we expect that once you RSVP you are committed to play.
Important notice: Please read our bookings policy below:
You may cancel up to 24 hours before the the session to avoid any attendance charge and this allows other people on the wait list to play.
However, if you fail to show up without 24 hours notice on the RSVP, we do reserve the right to charge a full non-attendance fee when you next come. In the case of persistent offenders we shall block them from attending our club. So if you are unable to attend please be considerate and give use at least 24 hours notification in advance. Our booking policy is intended to fair to everyone.
All bookings are to be paid 24 hours in advance. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless if we are unable to run a session where you will be offered a replacement session. If you cannot attend anymore after making your booking, please update your RSVP to remove your place by clicking 'Edit RSVP' and changing RSVP to 'Not going' so that your place can be released to someone else. If you do not withdraw in good time (at least 24 hours before the event) then your booking is a 'no-show' and you will be banned. Please use only UK bank accounts to pay. Do not use overseas accounts, Amex or Revolut as we will be charged a fee.
We are sympathetic that circumstances may change (due to injury, illness or transport problems) but please book only when you are certain you can attend. If players want to book well in advance to secure their places, then they have to bear the risk of their own changes and that they have to withdraw without refund.
Owl Badminton Club offers racket restringing services and sales of shuttlecocks. Please contact one of our organizers for more information.
There is a social side to our club, with social gathering and fun activities organized for members. We run our own badminton club tournaments every year.

Always stretch and warm up properly before and after our session for injury prevention . We are only a social group, not insured and are not liable for any injury or loss that you may suffer as a result of your participation at any of our sessions.
We may occasionally take videos or images during the sessions. By joining our Meetup group and events, you grant Owl Badminton Club permission to take videos, images or audios and to use them in any media including, without limitation, in printed publications, presentations, promotional material or online, in their original format or edited or altered in any way.
We want every member to have a good experience every time and continue playing with the club. If you have any feedback about Owl Badminton Club (positives and negatives) or any suggestion, please let us know!

Owl Badminton Club is not insured for public liability OR personal accidents. Therefore you should check that you have your own insurance cover in respect of any personal accident to yourself or personal liability to others. Members should be vigilant in respect of their own safety and that of others at all times and ensure that all spillages and points of potential danger are removed at the earliest opportunity.
Owl Badminton Club accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings or for any injuries sustained during the session. Participants are advised to ensure they have appropriate personal insurance cover and to take care of their belongings at all times.
Not withstanding it should be noted that all players attend and participate at their own risk.
