***MULTIGROUP***Day Hike on the Skyway Trail

***THIS IS A MULTIGROUP OUTING W/ AN EXPECTED TURNOUT OF 5-10 PEOPLE BETWEEN ALL GROUPS. RSVP's FROM THE OTHER GROUP WILL NOT APPEAR HERE***

The Skyway Trail begins at Adams Gap located at the southern end of Talladega Scenic Drive (AL Hwy 281) and ends at the Lake Chinnabee Recreation Area.

This 6.6 mile trail is rated moderate, travels up and down several small ridges, and crosses three creeks. Wildflowers are abundant along this trail.

Participants should pack a lunch and bring plenty of water. There is a $3.00 user fee for cars that park at the recreation area.

The departure time and location for this outing will be 8:00 am from the Quintard Mall parking lot located at 700 South Quintard Avenue in Oxford (AL Hwy 21). Participants should meet next to the mall sign. We'll caravan / carpool to the trail head.

The partnered group leading this hike requests we RSVP by Thursday the 17th.
