What we’re about

We are a friendly and informal social group for arts and culture enthusiasts in and around Oxford. If you love music, spoken word, dance, cinema, comedy, theatre, galleries and museums and more, do join us. If you want to promote an arts event and are happy to host a Meetup on the day please contact the organiser.
Meetup organisation costs are nearly £400 per year. Please make a £2 contribution when attending an event.

This is an afternoon visit to the special exhibition This Is What You Get at Oxford's Ashmolean**. (£16.50 - concessions available).

BOOK YOUR TICKET on the link below, for 2 pm, Thursday 13 Nov ... Meet in the museum's foyer, ground floor ... We will tour the exhibition together, approx 45-60 minutes ... Stay for tea at the basement café afterwards..

This major exhibition explores the visual art of Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke. This Is What You Get reveals how the artists experimented with early technology, and explores the evolution of the images for Radiohead’s legendary albums and Yorke’s later projects. To date the band, which was formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire in the mid-1980s, has sold 30 million records worldwide.
