The Oxford Waits
An afternoon concert in the Turrill Sculpture Garden, Summertown Library.
Oxford's own 17th-century costume band presents a vibrant portrait of Oxfordshire in the age of the English Civil War and Restoration. Performing in period dress with music and spoken word the 5-piece features lute, fiddle, cittern, hurdy gurdy, hammered dulcimer, shawm, nyckelharpa – and superb singing voices.
