Dinner and concert of Ancient Greek Music

## Dinner at the Turf Tavern followed by A Concert of Ancient Greek Music and dance at the New College Chapel

Plan: Meet at 6:00 at the Turf Tavern (4 Bath St) for dinner or a drink. After dinner walk to New College. The Concert stars at 8pm and lasts 2 hours. I have secured 6 tickets for this group. Tickets are free, however please contribute 2 pounds to help me with the MeetUp cost.

This recital features a diverse programme of reconstructed Ancient Greek music that combines cutting edge research with traditional methods of Ancient Greek music-making. From surviving ancient fragments to newly composed works this concert brings Mousikē Technē, the Ancient Greek Art of the Muses, to life on stage. Many of these works are accompanied by dance by Elisa Anzellotti, an expert on ancient Greek dance.
This recital is also the debut performance of a Roman kithara made by expert luthier Ben Hebbert.
